Position Summary

The Transportation Specialist CMV Driver / Warehouse person participates as a member of the operations and warehouse team of God’s Pantry Food Bank (GPFB). Drives CMV (or other GPFB) vehicles, in addition to other warehouse duties, tasks, and procedures.

Essential Duties/Functions:

• Operate assigned truck in a legal, safe and appropriate manner.
• Load and unload truck at main warehouse and other assigned agencies.
• Maintain a clean Driver’s License and a DOT medical card.
• Do a proper Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections.
• Vehicle maintenance.
• Interact with agencies, donors and staff in a courteous manner.
• Assist agencies and donors with loading and stocking.
• Operate various power materials handling equipment in an appropriate      manner.
• Assist other warehouse team members in maintaining a clean and safe      working environment.

Education/ Skills Preferred:

• Driver’s License 
• High School or GED equivalent
• Able to operate a forklift and electric pallet jack
• Computer skills preferred
