The AECOM Transit Safety & Security team is seeking a senior level professional who is an FTA-certified professional to join our national team. As a preferred candidate, you will have the opportunity to work with the largest public transit providers in the United States. You will also have responsibilities related to rail and bus Safety & Security Certification, Safety Management Systems (SMS) assessment and review, Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP) annual reviews, State Safety Oversight Agency (SSOA) coordination, and other rail- and bus-related project safety & security responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS + 10 years of related or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• FTA Transit System Safety & Security Certification (TSSP/PTSCTP)

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Safety & Security Management Plan (SSMP)
• Safety & Security Certification Plan (SSCP)
• Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA)
• Threat & Vulnerability Assessment (TVA)
• Design Criteria Conformance Checklist (DCCC)
• Operations Hazard analysis (OHA)
• Construction Conformance Verification Checklist (CCVC)
• On-site inspections for rail and bus facilities
• Track inspection
• Development of rollingstock testing and acceptance criteria
• Rail and bus systems safety & security design review
• Transit system security and cybersecurity review
• Field safety / roadway worker protection

• Offered rate of compensation (Omaha, NE. area only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $190,000.00.
