Transporter

Job Summary:
Transport members, upon request, to appointments within the tribal service area in a safe and 
respectable manner.
Duties:
• Communicate Transportation procedure to tribal community members.
• Make weekly schedule ahead of time.
• Keep current on each weekly schedule.
• Let clients know if a Transporter is available for transport.
• Confirm each transportation request, either by phone call or home visits.
• Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
• Safely transport members to and from appointments.
• Ensure members have proper documentation before transporting.
Requirements:
• Must be over 21 years of age.
• Must be insurable through tribal insurance.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must complete first aid training and CPR training and become certified.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions of supervisor.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Must be dependable.
• Must pass a pre-employment alcohol/drug screening
