This position also contributes to operating room readiness through room turnover, equipment management, supply restocking, and close collaboration with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams to maintain efficient workflow and compliance with hospital protocols. How you’ll contribute 

A Transporter who excels in this role: 

• Safely and efficiently transport patients to and from the Operating Room (OR), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Outpatient Services.
• Assist in operating room turnover by cleaning between cases, moving equipment, and restocking supplies.
• Communicate effectively with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing staff to coordinate patient movement and room readiness.
• Follow strict infection control, safety, and hospital protocols during all transport and room turnover activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment, storage areas, and transport carts.
• Support team workflow by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests from OR staff.
• Observe and report any patient concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
