Position Overview:
Join our trauma services team as a Trauma Registrar supporting day-shift operations. This critical role maintains accurate trauma data systems to support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Abstract and code trauma patient data according to NTDS standards
• Maintain integrity of trauma registry database
• Generate performance improvement reports for trauma services
• Ensure compliance with state/federal reporting requirements
• Collaborate with trauma program leadership on data initiatives

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Licensure/Certification: CAISS or CSTR certification (preferred)
• Experience:
• Minimum 1 year as Trauma Registrar
• Pediatric trauma setting experience (plus)
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Image Trend Trauma Registry,
• EPIC EMR experience (preferred)
• Soft Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, Strong analytical and organizational abilities
