This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated APP (Nurse Practitioner or PA) to help support an established trauma practice with a collegial team.

• Join a team of 4 FT physicians and 4 APPs
• Practice setting: primarily inpatient and surgical first assist, with some outpatient clinic 
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified/licensed NP or PA required
• Support the care team experience for loved ones 
• Maintain high standards and quality outcomes in the practice
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a highly efficient practice model
• experience with surgical first assist and inpatient care is preferred

• Sacred Heart Bay opened in 1949 and was acquired by Ascension in 2019 to further the Sacred Heart mission in the Panama City community: providing excellent health care to all people, with special attention to the poor and vulnerable.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or National Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner (NP) license required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
