Phaxis Travel Healthcare has an urgent need for a Travel Oncology RN in Atlanta, GA.***** Atlanta, Georgia (GA)Contract ***** 13 weeks***** 8:30 AM to 5:00 PMJob ***** We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel contract position at our outpatient oncology department infusion center in Atlanta, GA. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, administering chemotherapy and treatments for hematology (we do not do blood transfusions).Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister chemotherapy and other oncology-related treatments to patients according to prescribed protocols and standards.Monitor patients during treatments, assessing vital signs and responding to any complications.Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, procedures, and side effects.Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment progress.Ensure proper operation and maintenance of infusion equipment.Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe working environment.RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience within the oncology specialty.Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Chemotherapy certification.Strong knowledge of oncology nursing principles, practices, and procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to careBenefitsCompetitive compensation package.Travel and housing allowances.Health insurance options.Professional development opportunities.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Apply ***** Join our dedicated healthcare team in Atlanta, GA, and make a significant impact on patient care through your expertise as an Oncology Registered Nurse.
