Job Description
Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Electrophysiology Technologist for a contract position in Portland, Oregon. This role is essential for providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services in electrophysiology.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with electrophysiology procedures, including catheter placements and mapping.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Prepare and maintain equipment used in electrophysiology procedures, ensuring proper sterilization and functionality.
- Document all relevant information accurately and timely in the patient’s medical record.
- Educate patients about procedures, potential risks, and post-procedure care.
Requirements
- Current RT licensure with AART certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrophysiology or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrophysiological principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
