TRAVEL Inpatient Pharmacist | Days | 7 ON 7 OFF | $2766.00 / Wk

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a day-shift travel assignment at a short-term acute care hospital in Hobbs, New Mexico.

This is a 26-week travel assignment with a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation, working day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Block scheduling is utilized. On-call responsibilities are required during scheduled work weeks, with every other weekend coverage.

The pharmacist will provide inpatient and acute care pharmacy services, including medication dosing and monitoring, anticoagulation management, renal and pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic drug monitoring, and warfarin dosing. Responsibilities also include sterile compounding, intravenous medication preparation, and use of automated dispensing systems (Pyxis). Epic is the required charting system.

Patient populations include neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The facility has 36 beds and is a short-term acute care hospital.

Compensation:

W2: $38.00/hr  

W2 OT: $57.00/hr  

Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246.00/week  

• Housing: $770.00/week  

• Meals: $476.00/week  

Gross Pay: $2,766.00/week

• Minimum of 1 year inpatient or acute care pharmacist experience

• Active Pharmacist (RPh) license required

• IV certification required

• Epic charting experience required

• Ability to work a 7 on / 7 off schedule

• On-call availability required

• Weekend coverage required every other weekend

• Willingness to float to nearby sister facilities if needed
