Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Tennessee - Rapid Progression

Sunbelt is looking to hire an Interventional RadiologyTechnologist to fill needs at a facility in Jackson, Tennessee. Two year experience in the field is preferred. Must have updated resume and two professional references ready.

Responsibilities:

1. Procedure Assistance:

   • Collaborate with interventional radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assist in performing a variety of interventional procedures.
   • Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.

2. Imaging Equipment Operation:

   • Operate and maintain specized radiology equipment, including fluoroscopy, angiography, and ultrasound systems, to obtain high-quty images for diagnostic and interventional purposes.
   • Monitor and adjust imaging parameters as needed during procedures.

3. Patient Care:

   • Provide comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after interventional procedures.
   • Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing clear instructions related to the procedures.

Qufications:

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Additional certification in Interventional Radiography is preferred.
• State licensure as a radiologic technologist.
