Travel Mammography Technician (Mamo Tech)

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammography examinations in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain and operate mammography equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety regulations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results.
• Educate patients about the procedure, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Mammography Technologist (ARRT) required.
• Valid state licensure in California as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Previous experience in mammography preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
