Travel Nanny Position

Start Date: February 2027 (first trip February 14–27, 2027)
Location: Bellingham, MA
Compensation: $300/day while traveling (local rate to be discussed)
Schedule: Part-time; some weekday afternoons and some weekends, plus travel dates
Guaranteed Hours: To be discussed

Overview:
A Bellingham, MA family is looking for a responsible, adaptable Travel Nanny for a long-term role caring for their 10-year-old daughter. After ten years with their previous caregiver, they want to build a lasting relationship with a dependable nanny who can support a mother traveling on her own with her daughter. The family takes 4–5 trips a year, often cruises and sometimes international. The nanny will help with childcare and logistics while traveling and act as a steady, trusted second adult if anything unexpected comes up. When the family is home, the role covers part-time care on some afternoons and some weekends, with flexibility during the week.

Confirmed travel dates:

• February 14–27, 2027
• April 17–25, 2027
• August 30 – September 26, 2027
• February 12–19, 2028

Benefits: All travel expenses paid, $300 daily travel rate, domestic, international and cruise travel, long-term position, flexible part-time local schedule

Responsibilities:

• Care for and engage a 10-year-old in age-appropriate ways while traveling and at home
• Provide afterschool care on select weekday afternoons and help with homework, activities, and transportation as needed
• Cover select weekend days at home
• Go on family trips, including cruises and international travel
• Help with travel logistics such as packing, airports, transfers, and daily itineraries
• Keep routines, meals, and rest consistent while away from home
• Be a calm, capable adult who can step in during emergencies or unexpected situations
• Communicate clearly and proactively with the parent throughout each trip

Requirements:

• Previous nanny or childcare experience with school-age children, ideally including travel
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
• Available for all listed travel dates, including a nearly four-week trip in Aug/Sept 2027
• Availability for weekday afternoons and weekends
• Comfortable on cruises and with extended time away from home
• Adaptable, flexible, and calm under pressure
• Responsible, mature, and highly dependable
• Looking for a long-term role
• Valid driver’s license
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Must be able to provide 3-5 Professional References
