Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of medical terminology; principles and practices of health promotion, risk reduction, illness and disease prevention and management; medications and drugs, common dosages, their physical and physiological effects, and possible adverse reactions.
• Knowledge of medical and professional nursing ethics and patient privacy rights.
• Must be able to communicate thoughts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with a wide-range of constituencies.
• Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Educational/Licensing: Current state RN license. Advanced Life Support Certification/BLS upon hire required.

Qualifications: Minimum of two years recent experience in ICU, CCU or a related critical care specialty area. Previous cardiac cath lab experience preferred. Must have the ability to function efficiently and responsibly in a team-oriented atmosphere with multiple work demands. Must be able to respond appropriately in emergency situations that may arise during high-risk procedures.
