Aware of patient safety measures (i.e. contraband, restraint/seclusion, suicide precautions).Maintains routine regular rounds (according to Facility policy) 1:1, precautionary monitoring (suicidal, elopement, contraband, seclusion/restraint), reporting and recoding patient physical and emotional status, activity and behaviorDemonstrates knowledge of milieu management in daily practice.Demonstrates effective de-escalation techniquesProvides for spiritual and emotional needs of the patient/significant others in times of stress/maladaptive behaviorVerbalizes understanding of differences between voluntary and involuntary admissionsVerbalizes understanding of legal issues involved with competency and guardianship, and psychiatric care of minors.Demonstrates understanding of suicide and homicide risks and precautions and crisis interventions.
