As a Remote Travel Operations Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our travel business, all while working remotely from the comfort of your own home.   2. Booking Management: Coordinating travel bookings, including flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and other services, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.

  3. Supplier Relations: Building and maintaining relationships with travel suppliers, including airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, and tour operators, to secure competitive rates and negotiate favorable terms for our clients.

  4. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Ensuring all travel-related documentation, including itineraries, invoices, and contracts, is accurately prepared, organized, and maintained for easy reference and retrieval.

  5. Financial Transactions: Handling financial transactions associated with travel bookings, including collecting payments, processing refunds, and reconciling accounts, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  6. Problem Resolution: Addressing and resolving any issues or concerns that may arise before, during, or after clients' travels, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure a seamless experience.

  7. Sales and Commission: Leveraging sales opportunities to maximize commission earnings, including upselling additional services or packages to clients and identifying potential new business leads.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using travel booking systems, reservation platforms, and other relevant software.
  • Previous experience in travel operations, customer service, or sales is advantageous but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.
