We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurses for 13-week travel contracts in Washington, DC! As a Travel PACU RN, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment while exploring the historic landmarks and cultural attractions of Washington, DC. petitive pensation, prehensive benefits, and housing assistance provided.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and neurological status in the immediate postoperative period.
• Assess patients for pain and other disforts and administer appropriate medications as needed.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Prepare patients and their families for discharge and provide education on postoperative care and recovery.

Requirements:

• Active Washington, DC Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working in a PACU setting.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Strong critical thinking and munication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
