Travel Pathology Assistant

A facility located west of Albany, NY is seeking a Travel Pathology Assistant to join their team for an 8-week contract!

Pay: $80.00 / hourly

Travel Pathology Assistant Opportunity:

• Full-time, 8-week contract
  


• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 4:30PM
  

Travel Pathology Assistant Responsibilities:

• The travel pathology assistant you will perform tissue transfer and large specimen grossing with appropriate tissue sampling and gross description composition
  


• Perform specimen collection processing, including handling and labeling samples accurately
  

Travel Pathology Assistant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the chemical, physical, or biological sciences, Master’s Degree in Pathologist Assistant (PA) preferred
  


• Pathologist assistant certification under ASCP
  


• 2+ years of experience with large complex specimens
  


• 2+ years of experience as a pathology assistant
