Travel Plaza Cashier

Job Description:

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the face of our retail operations, responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, while providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

* Operate cash register and process various payment methods
* Accurately handle cash and provide correct change to customers.
* Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and quantity.
* Assist customers with product inquiries and direct them to appropriate aisles or departments.
* Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and surrounding store environment.
* Process fuel transactions and assist with fuel-related inquiries.
* Stock shelves and coolers as needed, ensuring products are faced and rotated.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales.
* Report any discrepancies or issues to store management promptly.
* Provide a friendly and welcoming demeanor to all customers.

Job Qualifications:

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Comfortable operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Pay:

$16 per hour
