Travel Plaza Cashier

Job Description:

The Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo is responsible for providing friendly and efficient customer service, accurately processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized sales area within our travel plaza environment.

Job Responsibilities:
* Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service, answering questions and assisting with product location.
* Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
* Maintain accurate cash drawer reconciliation, including counting cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
* Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and quantity.
* Assist with stocking shelves, rotating products, and ensuring merchandise is neatly displayed.
* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor, checkout area, and associated facilities.
* Promote special offers, loyalty programs, and additional products to customers.
* Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol).
* Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Job Qualifications
* Previous experience in retail, customer service, or cashiering is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
* Must be at least 18 years of age to handle age-restricted products.
