Travel Plaza Cashier

Job Description:

Onvo is seeking a friendly and efficient Travel Plaza Cashier to process customer transactions, maintain a clean store environment, and provide excellent customer service at our travel plaza location.

Job Responsibilities:
* Accurately process customer transactions using a POS system, including cash, credit, and debit card payments.
* Scan and bag merchandise efficiently and courteously.
* Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries regarding products, services, and store layout.
* Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including shelves, counters, and floors.
* Stock shelves and coolers as needed, ensuring proper rotation and presentation.
* Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fueling issues if necessary.
* Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
* Address customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate to management when appropriate.
* Perform opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation and store preparation.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol).

Job Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
* Willingness to work flexible hours
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Shift:

Monday-Thursday 3 PM-10 PM
