Travel Plaza Cashier

Job Description:

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the face of our convenience store and fuel station, providing exceptional customer service and accurately processing transactions. You will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all our guests.

Job Responsibilities:

* Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, inquiries, and service needs.
* Accurately operate a cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, including counting change.
* Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and product identification.
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including the register area, lottery counter, and surrounding aisles.
* Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure proper merchandising displays.
* Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fueling issues or questions.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, lottery), and safety.
* Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to management as needed.
* Perform opening and closing duties, such as balancing the register, preparing deposits, and securing the premises.
* Assist with other duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth operation of the plaza.

Job Qualifications:

* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
* Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive, customer-focused attitude.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
