Travel Plaza Cashier

Job Description:

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be providing exceptional customer service and accurately processing transactions in a fast-paced travel plaza environment.

Job Responsibilities

* Greet customers and assist them with their purchases, inquiries, and any needs they may have.
* Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
* Handle cash responsibly, including making change and balancing the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
* Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and assist with general store cleanliness as needed.
* Stock and replenish shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are well-presented.
* Verify age for restricted products (e.g., tobacco, alcohol) in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
* Respond to customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
* Promote Onvo loyalty programs and special offers to customers.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

* Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is a plus.
* Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
* A positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
