Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and administration of cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Administer medications and contrast agents as prescribed, monitoring for any adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families about procedures, post-procedure care, and recovery plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of California.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with a focus on cardiac catheterization or related cardiac care preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
