I-5 Design Build is a growing national design-build firm specializing in high-end gaming, hospitality, and entertainment projects across the United States. We deliver visually striking, high-impact spaces while significantly reducing construction timelines through innovative technology and turnkey execution.
We’re looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, excellent communication skills, ability to work with a team, and a passion for delivering top-quality work. This is a full-time travel position, with projects located across the country.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety
Support efficient project delivery by preparing and managing schedules, assembling and coordinating subcontractor teams, and handling select pre-construction tasks typically managed by a Project Manager
Supervise subcontractors, trades, and traveling field crews to ensure work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, safety regulations, and company standards
Coordinate daily with the project team, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to maintain schedules, address field conditions, and resolve issues
Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, including daily reports, inspections, schedules, manpower tracking, and budget-related field inputs Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, OSHA requirements, and company safety policies
Foster strong working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to field staff, promoting a team-oriented, accountable, and results-driven culture
Travel & Work Expectations
100% nationwide travel (project-based)

Comfortable working in active commercial environments, including remodels and occupied facilities
What You Bring
5–10+ years of commercial construction experience
Minimum 5 years in a Superintendent, Superintendent/Manager, or Project Manager role
Proven experience leading hospitality, gaming, retail, or food & beverage projects
Experience managing traveling or out-of-town construction teams
Strong understanding of commercial construction means, methods, and sequencing
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Google Workspace Thorough knowledge of building codes, inspections, and safety regulations
Safety-first mindset with strong documentation and follow-through
Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working away from home for extended periods
Compensation & Benefits
Full-time position
Salary range: $160,000 – $175,000 annually, depending on experience
