Job Opening: Traveling Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) – Implant Specialty Support

Locations:

• East Cobb Family Dentistry – Marietta, GA
   
• Windy Hill Dental Associates – Marietta, GA
   
• Harvey Dental Group – Villa Rica, GA
   

Hours:

Monday - 7:30-4:00

Tuesday - 7:30-4:00

Wednesday  - 6:30-4:00 

Thursday -  6:30-4:00

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dynamic team supporting our traveling implant specialty doctor. This is a great opportunity for a clinically strong assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety in their work week.

Position Highlights:

• Chairside 4-handed dentistry in general and specialty care
   
• Travel between three top-performing general dentistry offices
   
• Assist with implants, extractions, endodontics, and surgical procedures
   
• Take high-quality x-rays and perform intraoral scanning
   
• Ensure optimal patient experience with compassionate, efficient care
   

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of experience in general dentistry, including implants, extractions, and endo
   
• Current Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification (GA)
   
• Proficient in 4-handed dentistry, digital radiography, and scanning
   
• Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Marietta and Villa Rica locations
   
• Working interview required for top candidates

Requirements

Education and Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
• Valid X-ray certificate.
• Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
• CPR & first aid certificate.

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
