Job Duties

Duties:

• Assist orthodontists in providing patient care and treatment Prepare patients for procedures and treatments

• - Take dental x-rays and accurate orthodontic records (photos and intraoral scans)
• - Assist with infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments
• - Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures
• - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• - Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records

• - Collaborate with the orthodontic team to ensure smooth workflow

Skills:

• - Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures
• - Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
• - Familiarity with orthodontic equipment and instruments
• - Ability to take dental X-rays and intraoral scans
• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• - Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• - Basic knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and orthodontics
• - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Desired Profile/Background:

• MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN.
• OA/RDA License by Dental Board
• An upbeat personality is a MUST.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, materials, medications, and instruments used during dental procedures.

Job Type:

• Part-time/Full-time available with travel to Montebello, Eagle Rock, Reseda
• $22.00-$30.00/Hr. DOE
