American Spoon is hiring Part time seasonal and year around Retail Associates for our Traverse City Store located at 230 East Front Street, Traverse City Michigan! 

Responsibilities:

Greet, welcome and engage our customers with an exceptional experience

Enthusiastically promote and provide our customers with information and features of our products, i.e. locally grown fruit, local farmers, family owned, etc.

Assist & advise our customers on product uses, our recipes, easy pairings etc.

Assist with the merchandise displays, keep sales floor stocked and stock room clean & organized

Complete sales and service process utilizing our POS purchasing system

Clean and maintain safe food and kitchen practices

Assist with opening and closing procedures of the store [key holder]

Complete purchases by utilizing our POS [Point of Sale] software

Requirements

A passion for sharing  your love of great food, cooking with fresh ingredients and a strong interest and knowledge of local agriculture 

Energetic spirit, positive attitude, self- motivation, trustworthy and the desire to work as part of a team

Maintain high standards and have an unwillingness to compromise on quality 

Must be reliable, dependable and have customer service experience.   

Flexible schedule with  some availability on weekend days is required.
