Treasury Accountant, Onsite, Limassol

Emerald Zebra is partnering with a trusted online brokerage firm, registered in Cyprus, to recruit a fluent English and Russian speaking Treasury Accountant to join their growing finance team in Limassol.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage all outgoing payments, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements
• Verify payment requests for accuracy and compliance with internal policies
• Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs
• Reconcile bank statements with internal accounting records on a regular basis
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting data
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions regarding transactions and inquiries
• Participate in the monthly closing process
• Provide analytical support for financial and controlling processes
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports
• Communicate with internal and external auditors
• Proactively identify new tools, ideas, and opportunities to optimise processes

Your Profile:

• 2–3 years of experience in Accounting and Treasury/Payments processing, preferably within PSPs, fintech, or financial services companies
• Good understanding of payment methods and frameworks such as SEPA and SWIFT
• Background in a Big 4 firm (financial sector) is an advantage
• Exposure to payment-related regulatory frameworks
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong execution focus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Fluency in English and Russian is required; additional languages are a plus

What's on Offer:

• Salary Range: EUR 45,000 - 52,000 gross/year (approx. EUR 3,000 -3,300 net/month)
