Summary: 

The Treasury Analyst is a key position of the Corporate Treasury and Accounting team that oversees global cash management, liquidity, debt/investment management and corporate accounting. In this position you will be exposed to a wide array of Corporate Treasury & Accounting functions as well as process improvement initiatives and financial system implementations. The Treasury Analyst will interact with JDH’s Treasurer, VP of Finance, Controllers and nationwide finance partners. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and ready to grow their career!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily cash position reports, banking activity reports and credit facility usage reports for senior management.
  • Initiate electronic payment processing of domestic and international transactions, including ACH and wire transactions.
  • Apply cash received to open invoices. 
  • Determine the funding needs of each bank account and initiate transfers, borrowing requests, and/or payments as needed.
  • Post transaction entries to the general ledger related to treasury activity, broker activity and subsidiary operational activity. 
  • Complete daily check deposits.
  • Prepare Intercompany Invoices and associated GL entries. 
  • Support the treasury and accounting group with projects, including process improvement and automation.
  • Assist  with audit requests.
  • Reconciliation of bank account.
  • Drive a culture of safety, accountability, opportunistic curiosity and contributes to creating an environment where people want to work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; or minimum 2-4 years of equivalent work in accounting or finance role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve independently and as part of team.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, Excel, Word, etc.

Physical Demands 

  • Frequent sitting, use of computer, and communication via telephone.
  • Ability to navigate an office environment to access equipment and materials.
  • Regular and predictable attendance in office or site location.
  • Job may require occasional travel within the United States.
