Treasury Operations Specialist

Oversee and manage margin requirements across Prime Brokerage (PB) and Futures. This role is essential for ensuring operational efficiency and mitigating risks within Treasury Operations.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Cross-Product Margining: Utilize an in-depth understanding of cross-product margining to effectively manage and optimize margin requirements across various financial instruments.

• Margin Call Management: Review and approve PB, Futures, and netted margin calls. Address and resolve any discrepancies that arise during this process.

• Position Monitoring: Identify significant positions driving margin requirements and collaborate with relevant internal and external teams to address any associated issues.

• Process Automation: Develop and implement automated workflows, working closely with developers to create tools that reduce manual effort and mitigate risks.

• Daily Reconciliation: Understand the margin behavior of each broker/relationship and conduct daily reconciliation of Assets Under Management (AUM).

• Compliance: Ensure all margin call processes adhere to relevant policies and procedures.

Qualifications/ Skills Requirements:

• Educational Background: Undergraduate degree or higher is preferred.

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in margin and/or operations teams.

• Technical Knowledge:

• Comprehensive understanding of PB structure and margin methodology.

• Knowledge of uncleared margin rules and processes.

• Familiarity with Equities, Swaps, and Futures.

• Proficiency in Excel.

• Understanding of large datasets and their relationships.

• SQL knowledge is advantageous.

• Expertise in cross-product margining.

Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
