Wise’s Treasury team is looking for a Treasury Safeguarding Specialist to join our team in the Tallinn office. This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise’s mission by making sure that our customers' funds are safe with us. 

Here’s how you’ll be contributing to Treasury Operations team: 

• You’ll be trusted to move customer funds;

• Making sure that our regulation requirements are fulfilled and Safeguarding breaches are avoided;

• Get insights how Safeguarding is being part of all liquidity management in Wise;

• Understand how different flows/products work in Wise and affect Safeguarding;

• We don’t just want you to manage Safeguarding - you’ll be expected to help us find better and more efficient ways to move money around the world - getting us closer to instant and free money transfers;

• Being involved in the operational process of efficient investing customer money in Money Market Funds;

• We’re a cross-functional team of operations specialists, engineers, analysts and product managers - we want you to collaborate with all of these people to drive product and process improvements.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

• Learn various skills from our developers, bankers by working through problems side-by-side;

• Travel to different offices where the treasury safeguarding team is located: Austin, London

About you:

• Good communications skills – you’ll be comfortable resolving issues with our partners, working closely with other teams, and using your in-depth knowledge to help our product people and advise how Wise products are involved in SG process;

• Great organisation and attention to detail - we care about every cent on our mission to keep costs for customers low and you are someone who enjoys tracing numbers and making sure everything is accounted for;

• Ability to multitask, be proactive and make decisions independently in time-sensitive situations - there are a lot of things going on and a lot of deadlines throughout the day, you constantly need to prioritise between tasks and be aware of alerts and risks;

• Not afraid of completing operational tasks;

• Trustworthy, curious and not afraid of changes;

• We are looking for a person  with a “can do attitude” and keen for working with numbers 

Salary: €2400 - €3100 gross monthly + RSUs
