Treatment Coordinator at St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our patients, their families, and our dental care team, ensuring that each child receives the highest quality of care in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of clinical time and resources.
• Collaborate with dentists to create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Clearly explain treatment options, procedures, and financial arrangements to patients and their families.
• Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Assist in verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary pre-authorizations for treatments.
• Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care to ensure treatment compliance and satisfaction.
• Perform administrative duties such as managing patient files, processing payments, and handling inquiries.

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Previous experience in a healthcare or dental setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical or dental terminology and treatment procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Proven ability to explain complex treatment plans and financial options in an empathetic and professional manner.
