Mission of Treatment Coordinator

As a treatment coordinator, your primary mission is to build strong, consultative relationships with patients and their families, ensuring they fully understand their treatment plans. You will serve as a patient advocate, making treatment accessible by offering and explaining various payment options.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Cultivating strong patient relationships.
• Educating patients about their prescribed treatments.
• Understanding and coordinating insurance benefits, including running pre-determinations when applicable.
• Presenting financial agreements professionally and overcoming objections
• Entering financial contracts into WAVE.
• Collecting down payments.
• Scheduling follow-up appointments.

Your role is crucial in ensuring patient acceptance of their treatment plans, which directly contributes to the office's overall success and productivity.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge
• Sales process experience
• Customer service experience
• High school diploma
• Dental/Ortho office experience is preferred, but not required
• Experience with dental  insurance breakdowns, coordination of benefits
