Compensation: $47,000 - $66,000 per year (with higher pay available for certified arborists and experienced candidates).

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and supervise a 2-3 person crew, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality on every job site. 


• Expertly operate chainsaws, rigging systems, and other advanced tree service equipment. 


• Perform and oversee tree climbing, rigging, and bucket truck operations. 


• Conduct safety briefings with the goal of meeting and exceeding industry-standard safety protocols. 


• Communicate directly with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction. 


• Train and mentor ground workers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 


• Maintain accurate job records and report equipment needs or issues. 


• Respond to emergency calls for storm damage and other urgent situations, including on-call duties during nights and weekends. 

Skills & Experience Required: 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tree care services, with at least 1 year in a leadership role. 


• Arborist certification (preferred) or willingness to pursue certification. 


• Extensive experience with tree climbing, rigging, and operating chainsaws and bucket trucks. 


• Strong knowledge of safety standards and the ability to enforce them on-site. 


• Excellent communication and leadership skills. 


• Ability to lift 60 pounds regularly and work in challenging outdoor conditions. 


• Valid driver’s license (CDL strongly preferred). 

Physical & Work Requirements: 

• Regular lifting, bending, climbing, and working at heights. 


• Ability to work in all weather conditions and on uneven terrain. 


• Willingness to be on-call for emergency response during storms and other urgent situations.
