Tree + Shrub Technician

Essential Functions

• 
  

  Provide tree and shrub services to residential properties on an assigned route, working independently.

  
  


• 
  

  Apply insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides using hand-held and powered equipment.

  
  


• 
  

  Inspect and evaluate properties to identify pests, diseases, and plant health issues, and recommend corrective measures.

  
  


• 
  

  Interact with clients to address concerns and promote additional services when appropriate.

  
  


• 
  

  Document services accurately using handheld technology.

  
  


• 
  

  Load, unload, and maintain equipment; follow all safety protocols.

  
  


• 
  

  Comply with company policies and all local, state, and federal regulations.

  
  


• 
  

  Operate company vehicles safely and maintain a valid driver’s license.

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in training, assist other departments as needed, and maintain reliable attendance, including occasional overtime or weekend work.

  
  

Wage Range: $20.00-$22.00 per hour. Up to $27/hour for experienced technicians. Starting wage is determined based on relevant experience. This is a hourly, non-exempt position.

Requirements

  High school diploma or equivalent.

  Tree and shrub care experience preferred.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong customer focus, time management, and communication skills.

  Ability to analyze situations and independently determine appropriate solutions.
