As the front-line representative of the SERVPRO® brand, the Trim Carpenter/Handy Man demonstrates the company’s Here to Help® commitment to customers and clients. This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform construction processes as scheduled and ensure quality control

Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews

Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided

Manage your time and materials responsibility

Communicate with project manager and office staff on project progress and issues

Additional Responsibilities:

Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety

Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly

Position Requirements

Valid driver’s license

High school diploma/GED (preferred)

knowledgeable in drywall, trim carpentry, basic plumbing and electrical installing techniques

training certificates are a plus

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance

Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)

Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects

Ability to work with/around cleaning agents

Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
