Position Overview

As a Trimble Operator, you’ll be responsible for using Trimble Total Station robotics to accurately lay out plumbing systems from underground to multi-level structures. You’ll work closely with BIM coordinators, Foremen, and General Contractors to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems with building structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Trimble Total Station robotics for plumbing layout.
• Mark and label layout points clearly for installation crews.
• Maintain, transport, and protect Trimble equipment.
• Collaborate with BIM coordinators and site Foremen.
• Oversee and assist with installation of sleeves, embeds, and piping.
• Ensure layout accuracy and alignment with building structure.
• Troubleshoot layout and equipment issues.
• Support plumbing installation tasks as needed.
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and adhere to safety standards.
• Assist with paperwork and care for company property.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take direction

Preferred:

• 6+ months experience in plumbing or general construction
• Basic plumbing knowledge

Reporting Structure

• Reports to: Vice President of Virtual Construction
• Field Supervision: Foreman or Field Supervisor on assigned jobsite
