Oil States is currently looking for a qualified candidate for the position of Trimmer I in Lampasas, TX. 

POSITION SUMMARY:  Removes flash and excess material from parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Remove flash and excess material from mold parting lines and product ID.
• Record count of parts for production record.
• Record elapsed work time on production record.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Entry level.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to follow safe work practices and instructions including care with sharp cutting tools.
• Familiar with hand tools such as snips, small knives, scissors, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Moderate physical effort required
• Prolonged sitting
• Regularly required to use hands.
• Must be able to work in temperatures over 100 degrees.
• Lifting, pulling and carrying up to 50 pounds.
