JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of materials, equipment, or goods using a box truck and cargo van. The ideal candidate is professional, punctual, and customer-service oriented, with a strong commitment to safe driving and compliance with DOT regulations. Reporting directly to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, this position is based in Millington, Maryland.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks and cargo vans, to transport goods to and from designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery records using company systems.
Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper securing and handling of materials.
Communicate professionally with customers, and team members.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations, including DOT guidelines.
Ensure cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles.
Report vehicle issues, delays, or delivery problems promptly to management.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Valid Class C Driver’s License required.
Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and DOT Drug Test.
Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (box truck or cargo van preferred).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
Dependable, punctual, and customer-focused.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
