Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to support operations across our Fort Atkinson campus. This position is responsible for moving trailers between buildings, transporting materials throughout campus, completing vehicle inspections, and maintaining required DOT documentation.
Because driving responsibilities do not typically fill a full workweek, this role also assists with warehouse and material handling activities as needed. Key Responsibilities
Move trailers between buildings and designated locations throughout the Fort Atkinson campus
Safely transport materials, products, and supplies as needed
Verify shipments by comparing packing lists and documentation to materials being moved
Complete daily inspections of tractors and trailers to ensure safe operation
Maintain Driver's Daily Logs, mileage records, and other required DOT documentation
Assist with loading and unloading materials when needed
Help coordinate schedules to maximize vehicle utilization
Support warehouse operations and material handling activities during non-driving hours
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Valid CDL required
Valid Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification preferred, if applicable
Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred
Acceptable driving record required
Ability to learn company software and operational systems
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous driving, transportation, warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered
Physical Requirements
Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
Frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds
Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds with assistance available for heavier items
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles, forklifts, and material handling equipment
Work Environment
This position works in a combination of warehouse, production, and outdoor environments. Employees may be exposed to moving equipment, vehicle vibration, varying weather conditions, and moderate noise levels while performing job duties.
