Truck Driver - 2nd Shift

Eaton\u2019s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Truck Driver - 2nd Shift at our Troy, IL facility! The core hours are Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be manadatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $24.87 per hour plus an additional $.50 cent per hour shift premium. \n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Primary duties include picking up steel coils, completing local deliveries within the Troy and Highland areas, and managing additional pickup or delivery tasks as assigned. This position operates Truck Unit 20 and utilizes trailers, tarps, and straps to properly secure all loads.\n\nKey responsibilities include maintaining accurate delivery documentation, performing routine vehicle inspections, and adhering to all safety and compliance requirements. A valid Commercial Driver\u2019s License (CDL) is required.\n\nIn this function, you will: \n\u2022 Pick up steel coils from suppliers and vendors \n\u2022 Perform local customer deliveries in the Troy and Highland areas \n\u2022 Complete miscellaneous deliveries and pickups as needed\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications: \n\u2022 A current CDL - Class A \n\u2022 No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered.
