Truck Driver - 3rd Shift, Oak Creek, WI

Starting Pay $27.45 with .90 shift differential

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a yard truck/yard horse to move tank wagons, dry vans, and other trailers within the yard.
• 
  Spot trailers at loading racks, docks, and designated staging areas.
• 
  Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of yard trucks and report any mechanical issues.
• 
  Communicate with dispatch, loaders, and supervisors to coordinate trailer movement.
• 
  Ensure proper placement and securement of trailers, including chocking wheels and verifying connections.
• 
  Maintain accurate records of trailer moves as required by site procedures.
• 
  Follow all site safety rules, including PPE requirements and safe driving practices.
• 
  Assist with yard organization to ensure efficient traffic flow and equipment placement.

Qualifications:

• No CDL required; prior yard truck or heavy‑equipment experience preferred.
• 
  Ability to safely operate a yard horse/spotter truck in tight or high‑traffic areas.
• 
  Understanding of trailer hookups, air lines, and fifth‑wheel operation.
• 
  Ability to work in outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions.
• 
  Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• 
  Reliable, safety‑focused, and able to work independently.
