Truck Driver Class A or B

We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused Class A or Class B CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Reading, PA. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional who takes pride in safe driving, reliable deliveries, and providing excellent service to our customers.

The CDL Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting and delivering products to customers while supporting daily operations. This position requires strong communication, effective time management, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Transport and deliver products to customers accurately, safely, and on schedule.
• Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, customer instructions, and local directions.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations personnel, customers, and other team members.
• Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude during deliveries and other work-related interactions.
• Work independently while maintaining effective communication and coordination with the operations team.
• Follow all company safety procedures and transportation requirements.

• CDL Class A with HazMat endorsement, or CDL Class B with the willingness to obtain a Class A CDL and HazMat endorsement.
• Farming, agricultural retail, or related industry experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and local directions.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and independently, as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) that meets company insurability requirements.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen.
• Willingness and ability to work additional overtime hours when needed to support customer needs.
