Truck Driver, Medium (No CDL)

Location: Springfield, VA

Worksite: on-site

Position: Full-time

Schedule: Mon - Fri

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Duties/Requirements:

The Truck Driver Shall:  

• Operate a light to medium truck to move items, furniture, office items, etc. To various buildings as required.
• Assists in the loading and unloading of supplies or equipment. 
• Shall obtain receipts for articles delivered and keep a log of items received or delivered. 
• Be responsible for performing routine vehicle washing (including interior), daily operator checks and servicing, and reporting vehicle malfunctions to Program Supervisor immediately.
• be physically able to perform the assigned work which includes lifting boxes weighing up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
• have significant knowledge of public roadways, access points, traffic patterns, use restrictions and general destinations.
• have a proven safe driving record as established by the National Driver Register, or equivalent current record check.

Experience:

• minimum of two years’ experience performing driving duties in a demonstrated safe and responsible manner, six [6] months of which has been in the Washington metropolitan area.

Education/Certification:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Shall be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Requirement:  Secret level security clearance.
