Truck Loadout Operator

Job Responsibilities

Safely load and offload rail cars and trucks. Responsible for taking product samples prior to offloading. Maintaining detailed paperwork and checklists. 

• Works with operations for tank farm management  

• Loadout of product into tanker trucks or containers, and on-site trailer movement  

• Unloading deliveries of raw materials arriving in containers or tanker trucks.  

• Maintaining proper paperwork/inspections for load-out/unloading product  

• Follows all organizational safety rules and practices Encourages on-shift personnel to perform tasks to the agreed SOPs and EHS policies  

• Works with the whole of the production team to prepare equipment availability for maintenance work.  

• Communicates any equipment needed for repairs or replacements to management.  

• Recommends measures to improve production methods and equipment.  

• Helps troubleshoot problems and assists in solving work issues.  

• Ensures quality and production documentation is completed correctly and in full.  

• Uses company systems to document incidents and complete assigned tasks.  

• Performs basic & critical operating skills  to maintain the manufacturing process  

• Assist with other needs of operations 

• Performs other duties as assigned 

Candidate Qualifications/ Requirements  

• Experience operating a yard dog preferred.  

• CDL preferred  

• Ability to resolve conflict and set priorities  

• Safety, Health, and Environmental awareness .  

• Dependable and responsible 

• Strong work ethic 

• Comfortable working independently 

• Makes safety a priority 

• Foster and maintain a positive work environment. 

• Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities  

Physical & Work Requirement 

• Must be able to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. 

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. 

• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. 

• List any PPE: safety goggles, hard hat, steel toe boots, must be medically cleared to wear a full faced respirator. 

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts 

• High, precarious places 

• Fumes or airborne particles 

• Outside weather conditions 

• Contribute to other projects and plans not specifically noted to reach divisional objectives
