• Truck Press Operator must be able to effectively communicate with truck tire curing supervision, truck tire curing room set-up, tire-room personnel, and any supplying department .

• Truck Press Operator will follow all plant policies, environmental policies, and plant and departmental safety policies. Must be certified to operate a Fork Lift through the Safety Department.

• The Truck Press Operator (TPO) operates Truck Curing Presses to cure “green” Commercial Truck Tires per specifications. Truck Press Operator is responsible having assigned truck curing press loaded and having green tires at the press to load. TPO Operator is responsible for removing empty buggies and stocking full ones at the assigned presses. Truck Press Operator must load the correct tire to the correct press. 

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0-2 years of manufacturing experience needed
• No relocation assistance is offered for this position

ENVIRONMENT

• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes. 
• New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends. 
• The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. 
• The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

HOURLY PERKS

• The hourly rate for this position is $27.17 - $28.69 per hour. This position is also eligible for a quarterly incentive program. 
• This role will be eligible for shift differential which is added onto your hourly rate. The additional shift differential is $0.20 per hour for evening shifts, $0.40 per hour for overnight shifts, and $1.00 per hour for weekend shifts. 
• Pay rate is based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
