Truck Rental Coordinator

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Rental Agent is charged with the responsibility for day-to-day operations of the Rental Department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily Rentals.


• Incoming service and rental calls.


• Daily rental utilization.


• Obtaining needed information from customers.


• Develop and maintain relationships with large volume rental customers.


• Provide weekly and monthly reports to management as required.


• Maintain and update daily yard checks and reporting of rental utilization to management.


• Follow company procedures regarding credit policies.


• Develop and maintain a rental billing routine to insure accurate and timely billing of rental charges to customers.


• Create an environment to assure cleanliness, safety, and customer focus.


• Communicate and cooperate with all department managers and employees.


• Assist in collection of past due invoices.


• Safeguard company assets by maintaining strong internal controls.


• Understand company policies and procedures.

Knowledge Requirements

• At least 2 years customer service experience.


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.


• Strong written/verbal communication skills.


• Ability to work in a fast paced team environment.


• Valid Driver’s license required.
