Tube & Sheet Laser Operator -2nd Shift

Description

 SUMMARY: This position is a fast paced, precision focused CNC Fiber tube & sheet laser cutting machines. Primarily responsible is for set-up and operation of CNC laser. The operator will produce products meeting customer quality requirements. Operators must also operate and process parts according to part number and destination requirements. Operators must monitor machine cutting performance and utilization.  

Requirements

 Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Perform typical laser cutting operations. • Select proper cutting programs, and proper fixtures. • Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point. • Make proper set-ups for cutting operations. • Perform prescribed maintenance as required. • Perform all dimensional inspections. • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor. • May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require. • Operates a forklift
