Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tube Welder to join our team in Sand Springs. This position involves welding thin-walled metal tubes and pipes with TIG and MIG techniques, ensuring all welds meet industry standards for quality and precision. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on thin-walled metal tubes and pipes, including stainless steel and carbon steel.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications to determine proper procedures and materials.
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with tolerances.
• Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment, including welders, torches, and grinders.
• Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate protective gear, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Conduct pre-weld and post-weld inspections to identify and resolve any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and project progress.
• Troubleshoot welding issues and work with supervisors to implement solutions.
• Stay current on advancements in welding techniques and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Tube Welder or in a similar role.
• Welding certification (e.g., AWS, CWB) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• High attention to detail and ability to produce quality welds.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and proper equipment handling.
• Physical stamina to handle materials and work in various positions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality.

Welding Test Requirements:

• Stick Test
• Sub Arc Test on ¾” thick plate, 18” long
