Tubing Fitter - Offshore

W-Industries is searching for Tubing Fitters with a 3+ Years of Offshore experience measuring, bending, and installing stainless steel tubing lines of assorted sizes. (1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4” & 1”)

Requirements

• Fabricate and install fiberglass, stainless, and aluminum trays as directed.
• Install tubing fittings and lubricants.
• Measure, bend, and install stainless steel tubing lines of assorted sizes. (1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 3/4” & 1”)
• Interpret schematics and P&IDs.
• Walk job sites, identifying tie-in points and routing trays and tubing.
• Identify necessary supports and either fabricate or direct mechanical crews accordingly.
• Pull required parts and materials for tasks.
• Utilize Parker & Rothenburger Benders effectively.
• Perform leak tests on IAS & TSE systems as directed.
• Walk down jobs and create Material list.
• Set up & perform hydro test. (Directed by Procedure or SUP.)
• Ability to understand FAT & Hydro Procedures.
• Direct/Assist (Helpers or small crew)
• QA/QC, walk down jobs/WP for closure, confirm completion of scope & sign off.
• Provide daily task reports to the Superintendent.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience working offshore working with Tubing
• Ability to read blue prints/safe charts.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of drawings, P&IDs, and isometric drawings.
• Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces while adhering to safety regulations.
• Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tubing materials, fittings, and installation techniques.
• Communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays in challenging weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to reach with arms and use tools above/over the head.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to stand (for extended periods of time), walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl and twist
• Ability to sit, balance and climb ladders, scaffolds and other objects.
• Ability to move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas.
• Ability to work up to a 12-hour shift in all weather and temperature extremes.
